This position will assist the Director of Quality in the development of a robust quality assurance program to meet demands. The QA Engineer will drive continuous improvement in internal and external quality, specify and drive the transition to inline and in-process testing and a proactive quality organization. They will lead the transition from a QC to a proactive QA approach focused on prevention of defects and support the transition from a dedicated QC test
environment to inline and in-process testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Their support will be required in the transition to inline testing and a Quality Assurance mindset. Success in the role will be measured by multiple factors. These include instilling programs that reduce the external and internal quality ppm levels by introducing in process inspection, SPC and automated in-line test where appropriate. Supplier performance and ratings will also be a measure of success in this role. This role requires a bachelors degree in a technical such as engineering, preferably in electrical engineering. Ideally 5-7 years of quality engineering experience. Needs someone with a good base knowledge and skills in order to mold them and make them a permanent fixture in the organization.
