Integrated marketing agency with a focus on technology-enabled solutions, is seeking a Content Production Manager to oversee the development and delivery of creative marketing content across a range of exciting brands and projects.

This role will work directly with a mix of internal and external content creators, organizing and managing plans to generate a mix of copy, graphics, video and animation for a number of web experiences across several high-profile brands. While you aren’t responsible for directly creating the content, you must have experience with different content types and understand lead times, review and approval processes, and the nuances of delivering output across multiple mediums and channels. Do you have experience working with copywriters, visual designers, art directors and animators? Do you pride yourself on organization and live comfortably in task-tracking software and content tools? This position can be remote or on-site, and reports to our Managing Director, Creative Services.

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Develops and manages content production plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and content strategy via frequent and consistent communication and scheduled checkpoints

• Works closely with a team of graphic artists, copywriters, videographers, editors, animators, retouchers and photographers to deliver various outputs on strategy, on deadline and with a high standard of quality

• Manages delivery across both in-house agency staff and externally sourced content creators

• Develops Statements of Work (SOWs) for securing third-party/freelance content resources where needed

• Sets schedules for and manages all aspects of production — pre-production, production, editorial, post-production — across graphic, video, audio, animation, illustration content types

• Understands and manages legal requirements, permissions and contractual needs for production/distribution, including asset usage rights, licenses, talent rights and fees, etc., across marketing channels

• Partners with internal creative leads to ensure appropriate internal review schedule to secure approvals and ensure delivery against creative standards and established content strategy

• Works directly with Client and Account team to secure appropriate client review and approval within established timeline

• Manages budgets for internal labor as well as outside costs related to contract resources, rights-managed assets, voice talent, on-camera talent, etc.

• Able to manage an extensive content inventory, cataloguing numerous assets and outputs within a centrally managed and documented library for storage, distribution and sharing

• Assists in documenting usage guides and creating naming/storage conventions to appropriately track content versions and applications

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience managing content production across most/all noted content types

• Familiarity and proficiency in related programs such as Google Sheets, Google Docs and GatherContent

• Demonstrable project planning, organization, and time management skills

• Ability to effectively read, manage and motivate team members of different skill sets, personalities and communication styles

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects with flexibility in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Proven track record in an agency or related client-service atmosphere

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or production preferred
