Senior USDA QA Technician

Summary

Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician in the USDA industry, to support a Food Production Facility in Dayton, Ohio. This is a newer company so there are tons of growth opportunities available!! We even offer FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING! You can choose from a 4 or 5 day work week or a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Walking the production floor performing quality and safety checks throughout the day
• Will work closely with management to revise and update quality programs
• Will help revise and improve SOPs as needed
• Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed
• Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with management
• Document quality assurance activities
• Make recommendations for improvements throughout the facility
• Revise and update SOPs as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years of quality assurance experience from a USDA environment

Preferred Skills, not required

• Experience updating and revising programs and SOPs
• Experience working with HAACP plans
