Description:
Formulate silicone rubber
Follow lab batch sheets to formulate products
Utilize rheometers, tensile/hardness testers, rubber mills, density testing, visual color matching etc for quality testing
Tare testing
Specific gravity testing
Elongation testing
All testing is for physical properties
Enter testing information into SAP
Communicate with internal team members, suppliers and customer regarding quality
Assist in making lab scale batches of silicone rubber with rubber mills and rollers
REQUIRED: High school diploma or college science degree and at least 1 year of material laboratory testing experience performing physical lab tests. If they don't have a degree they need 2 years of material laboratory testing experience.
PREFERRED: College degree and industry experience working on material laboratory testing.
