Primary Responsibilities Fill liquid and solid products into containers. Label and over-pack products ready for shipping. Follow filling and labeling work instructions as described on the Bill of Materials. Correctly record information on the filling/labeling work order after completing the task. Follow safety rules and work safely. Perform other related duties as assigned. Purge, fill, and pressurize recycletainers. Fill liquid and solid products into containers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. a. Able to bend, squat, kneel, sit. b. Able to reach to place boxes (up to 15 lbs.) above shoulder height. c. Twisting, turning to maneuver around work station and packaging. d. Hand-eye coordination sufficient to place labels on bottles and boxes accurately. e. Able to move up to 50 lbs. in cardboard boxes, shifting them slightly with arms and legs. (Boxes are stacked on a pallet right next to one another. Filler must constantly shift boxes temporarily around in order to put tape on the boxes to seal them as the pallet fills with boxes.) f. Able to lift up to 16 lbs. in glass bottles filled with chemicals. g. Able to wear half-face respirator, goggles and/or safety glasses. h. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. in metal pails. Education, Skills, and Experience a. Able to read and understand a filling/labeling work order and instructions and carry out the work accordingly. b. High school diploma or G.E.D. Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and SAP.
