Electrical Engineer

Description:

The Electrical Engineer will design, test, and troubleshoot PCBs and electronic hardware for industrial robotic equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with DC motors and controls, especially H-bridge design, testing, and troubleshooting.

• PCB design, including knowledge of industry-standard practices for schematics, board layouts, specifications, tolerances, and gerber files. Experience with KiCad preferred.

• Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic systems from board level to system level. This includes both bench testing and field testing.

• Familiar with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, DMMs, etc.). Ability to solder surface-mount PCB components as part of engineering troubleshooting.

• Primary task would be to design, test, and troubleshoot PCBs and electronic hardware for industrial robotic equipment.

• Circuit analysis ability, both manually and with SPICE.

• Wiring diagram and cable harness design experience.

• Mechanical integration of electrical/electronic packages. Experience with SolidWorks preferred.

• Strong technical writing skills for generating reports/manuals/specifications/test procedures.

• Ability to occasionally travel overseas.
