Job Title: Lab Specialist (Binder)

Job Description

Actalent Services seeks a Lab Specialist (Binder) to support the Pavement Technologies and product development team for a chemical manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK. The Lab Specialist will determine the composition, reactions, and chemical or physical properties of organic and inorganic compounds. They will develop and improve processes, equipment, and formulas, and prepare compounds and solutions to conduct tests.

Hard Skills

• BS in a science-related technical discipline
• Previous experience working in a laboratory
• Accurate data entry and analysis skills
• Strong attention to detail

Soft Skills

• Ability to safely handle 50 lb. buckets of materials
• Ability to work with elevated temperature materials with proper PPE
• Team-based collaboration
• Following instructions and checklists
• Compiling research data, operating records, and reports of test results

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Work Environment

Working in an asphalt laboratory with a small team of 3 people, facilitating in-depth training. The position is temporary for 4-6 months, with the possibility of long-term employment based on performance. The shift is Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, located in Tulsa, OK.
