Annuities Manager

Job Description:

• Direct and oversee a team, or teams, within operations of leaders and/or colleagues who are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of processes including, but not limited to annuities, claims, billing, group set-up, policy issuance and maintenance, post-enrollment reviews, and Section 125 confirming product compliance, state/federal laws and IRS code are followed.
• Actively manage staff and use of resources; analyze work loads and identify service trends, develop team leaders and other direct reports within area of responsibility, giving appropriate feedback to colleagues on their performance to ensure strengths are reinforced and areas needing improvement are appropriately addressed; hold Team Leaders accountable for colleague development within their area of responsibility.
• Demonstrate good judgement and collaborate with other leaders to develop standardized processes and procedures which focus on providing a high level of service to internal and external customers, work with other managers and/or directors to help identify process inefficiencies and areas of improvement; mentor/motivate colleagues to provide superior service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor degree preferred or 3 years of proven leadership

Series 6 and Series 63 License

Knowledge of FINRA/SEC, S125 IRS rules and regulations are a plus

Knowledge of Supplemental Medical and/or Reimbursement Account claim processing are a plus
