Job Description

A multi-disciplinary engineering firm is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team. The company does in-house architecture, civil, and structural engineering, focusing on K-12 institutional work and commercial projects. They seek a Structural Engineer with a strong design background and experience in K-12 projects, public works, and commercial structures. Responsibilities include project management, client communication, design reviews, structural calculations, leading project development, mentoring staff, and ensuring construction documents comply with various building codes, including IBC, OSSC, ASCE 41, AISC Manual of Steel Construction, ACI-318, and NDS.

Seeking a structural engineer with 8-10 years of experience to work on private and public works projects including (K-12, parking lots, sports fields). PE license in hand or ability to obtain in 6 months is required. Day to day will include design review, structural calculations, mentoring engineers with less experience, coordinating with architects, client communication, budgeting, and project management. Prior experience with wood, concrete and steel mediums preferred. Experience with Risa preferred.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oregon City, Oregon.
