Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a capable Project Manager to oversee and guide the completion of internal capital projects that range from $25K to millions, depending on the candidate's experience. The Project Manager will work under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, dedicating 50% of their time in a hands-on role at the plant, and the remaining 50% at the office. The role involves meeting with stakeholders to outline projects, scoping out projects to develop quotes, collaborating with 3rd party vendors on technical issues, coordinating with maintenance resources on equipment installs and logistics, conducting job walks, marking up and red lining designs, working with manufacturing teams, and managing other tasks as required. The Project Manager will scope and price out the projects, design and develop as per customer or internal needs, set project timelines and consistently communicate with involved parties to ensure the project sees successful completion.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or related work experience.
• 2-10+ years of Project Engineering/Project Management.
• Knowledge of safety codes and building codes
• Project Management experience
• Experience working with metals
• Experience budgeting, scoping projects from start to finish.

Work Environment

The role will be split between the manufacturing floor and the office, with each environment taking up 50% of the Project Manager's time. On the manufacturing floor, the Project Manager will work with different teams and groups on projects. In the office, the Project Manager will review drawings, communicate with vendors, and manage anything that involves the progress of the projects.
