Description:
Actalent is searching for a Mechanical Estimator with strong client engagement skills to meet with potential customers, estimate, and win projects that have a mechanical scope of up to roughly $1 million.
Contact and follow up with Leads and customers to review their project needs.
Review and put together project estimates to support RFP requirements
Estimating to include plumbing, HVAC piping, and sheet metal.
Review project documents and develop take-offs per plans, project specifications, P&IDs, schematics, etc.
Prepares list of Subcontractors and/or Suppliers for quotation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of Mechanical Construction experience
2+ years of estimating experience
Proficiency in Excel/Quotesoft and/or Sage software
Experience working directly with clients
