Fab Operations Engineer

Fab Operations Engineer will be responsible for critical infrastructure supporting R&D lab tools in building D. This role is not focused on the tools but focused on the sub-fab systems that connect gases, liquids, chemicals to the tools. The role is primarily focused on tool install, specialty gas distribution systems, vacuum pump & abatement equipment operations, point of use chiller ops, process tool support utilities - PCW, PVAC, CDA, UPW, nitrogen dilution. This person will also manage planned maintenance schedules. 50% of their time will be in the field validating tool and sub-fab operations and 50% working on planning and operations management tasks. This successful candidate will likely be a mechanical or chemical engineer who has moved in to fab ops/facilities planning. This person will oversee site resource teams that provide maintenance and install services as well as 3rd party companies.
