Description:

We are seeking an experienced controls engineer to lead the start of a new EV battery project. The day-to day responsibilities will vary based on where the team is at in the project life-cycle. They will be apart of the proposal, design, PLC programming, troubleshooting, implementation process, installation, and commissioning the equipment.


The role will also involve editing and modification of PLC's ((Allen Bradley, Siemens or Bosch ), as most of the code is already written, so most of the code will be editing and modifying based on the customers specific requirements. Experience with servo and motors, both design and implementation, is welcomed, along with experience with safety controls and machine vision in order to fully qualify the equipment.


Robotics experience (4 to 6-axis robot integration) is needed, preferably Fanuc or Emerson. Experience with integration of Fanuc or Emerson robotics is welcomed.

Conveyance or nesting would be a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bosch, Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff PLC controls

Vision guided motion experience

High speed/high accuracy servo-based motion control

4 to 6-axis robot integration (fanuc or Emerson)

Experience with SEMI standards

creates, designs, codes, tests, and maintains complex PLC software applications.

interfaces with customers during quoting, specification, design-review, buy-off, and installation phases

Need to have an engineering degree
