Chemistry Technician

Description:

Actalent is looking to add a consultant to our staff to work onsite at an R&D / manufacturing client site. This individual will support a fast-paced materials design team in development and testing of materials for 3D printing. Candidate must possess strong laboratory skills, must be a self-starter, team player, able to change priorities quickly, as well as have excellent communication skills. Duties may include mixing formulations at the bench and proto scale, using analytical instruments, using 3D printers, and performance and reliability testing of the resulting materials.

Additional Expectations, Skills & Qualifications:

• Compatibility testing
• Operate lab analytical equipment to validate material properties
• Handle various solvents
• Run 3D printer
• Ability to work in lab setting
• Ability to read/follow SOP
• Utilize PPE
• Bachelor or Associate degree in Science and/or Engineering disciplines, and a couple of years working in a lab setting - material, test, experiment, etc.
