Staff Civil Engineer

Job Description

One of our top clients in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Civil Engineer eager to learn more about land development and project management.

Job Responsibilities:

The position will primarily support staff and project-level engineers in all aspects of projects including conceptual/planning, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting documents, and engineering tasks. Responsibilities include:

• Review of local municipal ordinances.

• Design of sites including site layout, site grading, and site utilities.

• Assist the design team in preparation of plans for permitting and construction.

• Preparation of permit applications.

• Preparation of engineering reports, presenting technical information to demonstrate compliance with client requirements and/or regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 1-5 years of industry experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D)
• Civil 3D/Land Development hands-on experience
