About the role:
As a Safety Analysis Intern, you will support the Safety Analysis group.
You will report to the Safety Analysis Manager and be located at our Etna facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

About the role:
As a Safety Analysis Intern, you will support the Safety Analysis group.
You will report to the Safety Analysis Manager and be located at our Etna facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use software packages such as Python, Mathcad, Matlab, ANSYS or equivalent
- Perform modeling and analysis of advanced reactor designs and develop technical documentation and presentations related to these calculations and analyses
- Working with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
- Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
- Evaluate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, nuclear, or chemical engineering required
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Interest and skills related to thermal hydraulics and heat transfer
- No relocation assistance provided
