Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to join The Hershey Company family. The Technician will be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining company-owned aircraft. They will perform various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure airworthiness, thus providing safe efficient travel for company employees and guests.
Role Responsibilities:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will maintain company's fixed wing business aircraft to the highest standards and shall document maintenance activities per FAA regulations. This includes troubleshooting, discrepancy repairs, database updates, and other assigned tasks. They may be required to accompany the aircraft during scheduled maintenance and provide updates to the Manager.
Aircraft Maintenance Technician will assist with cleaning and upkeep of aircraft on a regular basis. Technician shall assist with fuel deliveries to fuel farm as well as fueling of aircraft. Operational activities involving the aircraft, departure, arrival, loading and unloading of passengers and baggage shall also be assisted by the technician.
Technician will be assigned a specific aircraft and be responsible to track all FAA regulatory documentation as well as all OEM specific documents pertaining to the aircraft. Technician shall assist with computerized aircraft maintenance tracking and coordinating of scheduled maintenance.
Technician may also be assigned specific tasks to help support daily operations and upkeep of equipment at the company owned facility.
The Technician may be asked to act as flight technician on certain flights to assist flight crew with passenger and aircraft operation.
Qualifications:
Education:
Technical schooling necessary to acquire an Airframe and Powerplant License. Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field highly preferred.
Experience:
Three to five years of recent relevant experience
Experience with Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft a plus

Qualifications:
- Must Possess a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant License
- Have a working knowledge of the FAA Regulations
- Have a high electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics
- Must be able to clear a required Federal Air Security Background Check and drug test
- Must be able to obtain a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Must have eyesight and dexterity necessary to meet the performance requirements of Federal Air Regulations 65, subpart D and AC-65-2d
- Must have complete physical mobility and be able to lift 75lbs
- Must possess computer skills competent to today's standards, (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule
Education:
