Job Title: RF Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, prototyping, design verification, and transition to production of complex analog, digital, and radio frequency (RF) products. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work across multiple departments to enhance product design and test throughput while providing technical support to customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
  • Create innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
  • Generate and implement improvements in product design and test throughput.
  • Interface directly with customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
  • Research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
  • Support full program life cycles including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
  • Lead teams of design engineers using established design and development process models such as CMMI and Six Sigma for Design.
  • Create, review, and approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).
  • Support and lead systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
  • Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
  • Perform other functions as needed to support the company’s goals.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience with troubleshooting or designing RF components.
  • Experience with PCB projects, including design of the board, schematic, and circuit.
  • Proficiency in Schematic Capture and CAD.
  • Must be eligible to obtain DoD Security Clearance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in military contracting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design and development process models such as CMMI and Six Sigma for Design.

Work Environment

You will work with a team of seven other Electrical Engineers on current and future Department of Defense level projects. The work environment includes both an office setting and an electronics manufacturing floor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LITITZ, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
