Aston Carter is now hiring for a Human Resources Generalist for our client in Columbia, PA!

Description:

The Human Resource Generalist will oversee several key functions of the HR Department, supporting local and remote employees in multiple states. The HR Generalist will be expected to apply prior experience and researched knowledge of Employment Law and HR practices to ensure effective communication, processes, and compliance across the Company.

• Process Development and Documentation

• Onboarding and New Hire Orientations

• Safety and Risk Management Support

• Worker’s Compensation Claims Management

• Benefits Administration

• Recruiting Support

• Payroll Support

• Unemployment Claims Management

• HR and Personnel Document Management and Compliance

The HR Generalist will work directly with members of the Management Team in the Corporate Office and in the field to address HR-matters and issues, and must have the ability to communicate effectively with Employees at all levels of the Company. The individual in this role must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualified candidates must have a sincere interest and care in the development of others. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor are essential.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Experience managing Workers Compensation claims
  • Manufacturing experience is a big plus
  • Degree/certifications in HR is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to apply thorough knowledge of Employment-related laws and regulations to local and remote work situations
  • Proven ability to develop and implement communications, processes, and policies utilizing available and diverse resources and systems
