Senior Accountant

***HYBRID POSITION STARTING IMMEDIATELY***

Title: Sr. Accountant

Pay: $50-55/hr.

Hello! A reputable, rapidly growing financial services company is looking to add a Sr. Accountant to their team who will be supporting the SVP of Accounting within the Servicing & Loan Research side of the business with month end close functions. This person must have experience using SQL in a services based organization to be considered for this role. Our client is over $1B in revenue and is preparing for an IPO in the coming year. The leadership team has long tenures and is very easygoing/flexible to work with. Please see below for a list of responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Account reconciliations
• Journal entries for month end close
• Accruals
• SQL (structured query language)
• Working within advanced pivot tables vlookups, macros, and formulas within Microsoft Excel

Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience with month end close functions such as reconciliations, accruals, general ledger, journal entries within an organization greater than $200M in revenue
• 3+ years of experience since 2018 or more recent as a staff or sr accountant within a services based organization (mortgage lending, banking, asset management, insurance, software/tech, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience with an ERP such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, JDE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Hyperion or PeopleSoft (can be conjunction)
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 3+ years of experience with creating pivot tables, vlookups, advanced formulas and macros within Microsoft Excel

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Mortgage industry experience
• Experience with loan research
