TOP 3 MUST HAVES:
1-2 years of CNC Press break experience
1-2 years of bueprint/shop drawing reading experiene
1-2 years of experience working on various metals (stainless, carbon steel, aluminum)
You will run the brake press and other job shop machinery. Will be required to from sheet metal to print specifications.
Candidates may also learn to setup and operate CNC machines, press, punches, shears, etc.
Good math skills and computer knowledge necessary.
Perform basic shop duties as required
Laser cutting and punching centers as well as two multi-bend centers dominate the equipment list at Marstrand Industries. Marstrand boasts two Trumpf lasers and three Trumpf punching centers. The CNC laser cutting center and CNC sheet metal processing center provide fast setup time for high productivity, prototype design, short runs, and "rush" orders. Our RAS 79.22 multi-bend centers are state of the art and one of only a few in the United States today. Other forming capabilities range from 60 through 400 ton press brakes. Four Panasonic robotic welding systems offer greater speed and better quality welds. Waterjet cutting for thicker materials has been added to our cutting capabilities.
