Aerotek is hiring a Braze Assembler in York, PA!

SHIFT:

1st shift: 6:00am 4:30pm -Monday to Thursday - Friday 6am to 12 noon on Friday (Only mandated twice, but it is available).

Candidates will be part of the Assembly team and need to be comfortable cross training in all functions.

As an Assembly Technician, you will perform a variety of repetitive processes using varied machines and/or hand tools to complete the assembly and /or sub-assembly of component parts.

Braze Department--

“Three Piece Assembly” – This is where the end caps are brazed onto the cylinder to form the fully assembled shell to house the bundle of copper tubing.

Operator will manipulate the shell to an upright position and load onto brazing Machine. The Machine will braze the end piece to the shell making, responsible for cleaning off slag with hand tool. will need to flip to braze other end of shell. Once fully assembled (3 pieces) then goes over to testing to ensure there is no issues with leaks .

2nd Shift Assembler - Monday to Thursday - 4;30pm to 3:00am (offer 5% shift differential)

Needs as well!

MUST HAVES:

Mechanically Inclined

Power tools

Attention to detail

2 years of hands on experience

Plus- direct Manufacturing assembly experience

Should be prepared to cross train in the other departments as well!

Cooler Pressing department- Brief description- working in the Assembly Cell to put together sub assemblies, add Caps -ensure they are aligned and then run through press machine. Responsible for quality check and then packing finished Coolers into shipping containers. After the press the units are tested using air pressure. Will be removing plates after assembled, pinned and press tubes goes through oven zone,

Bundle Department -Candidates will be working according to work orders set up the baffles into fixture.

Use the calipers to measure distance between end baffles to copper tube ends. Using Glue Gun according to work order .Next the “Cores” are inserted into the Casting and prepared for the pinning and pressing process.

Other Duties:

• Maintain records relating to production, downtime, quality, maintenance, etc.

• Ensure that all quality standards are met by visually inspecting work and/or with measuring devices

• Keep work area, equipment, machine, etc. clean and orderly at all times

• Perform necessary computer transactions in various computer applications and software programs

• Perform other miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager or other designated person
