Meta is seeking Machine Learning Software Engineers to join our PyTorch Open Source teams. The ideal candidate will have experience developing state-of-the art neural network architectures in PyTorch as well as experience with open source software development.

Software Engineer, Machine Learning Specialist- PyTorch Open Source Responsibilities:
  • Develop state-of-the-art neural network architectures, modeling primitives, and ML techniques in PyTorch
  • Publicize developments in the PyTorch open source community
  • Partner with PyTorch engineers to prioritize improvements to the framework.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, or a relevant field. 4+ years of experience if you have a PhD
  • 3+ years of specialization experience in one or more of the following machine learning/deep learning domains:
  • ML systems: AI infrastructure, machine learning accelerators, high performance computing, machine learning compilers, GPU architecture, machine learning frameworks
  • ML theory: large scale ML, machine learning robustness experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing state-of-the-art neural network architectures
  • Experience with open source software development
  • 3+ years of PyTorch experience
