Summary: The role of the Construction Superintendent is to manage day-to-day operations of the project, procure materials required, hold weekly project meetings, schedule subcontractors, and lead field crews. This individual will be working on Multi-Family projects managing all individuals on-site including subcontractors, vendors, clients, and customers. Duties and Responsibilities of Superintendent: Work with the city to obtain permits /entitlements. Work with surveyors and excavators to establish boundaries, site grades, and site controls. Procure materials and work with suppliers for on-time delivery. Schedule trades to complete work while maintaining the project schedule. Educate trade contractors to better understand construction documents. Work with trade contractors to solve issues in a cost-efficient manner. Strong understanding of Apartments/Condos, Townhomes, and Land Development. There are two local projects coming up in the next 30 and 90 days in Sioux Falls and Huron. Most urgent is the project starting in 30 days in Huron. This project is a Multi-Family project they're working on completing. They started and finished Phase 1 in Huron in 2019. Phase 2 is projected to take roughly 16 months. A company Truck with a gas card will be provided. The company pays around $75/month for cell phones.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years running the entire project and inception through completion. These projects and years of experience must be commercial projects. Must have 1+ years of experience working on Multi-Family projects. Managing the entire project themselves instead of having 4 Superintendents all on the same project managing various portions will not fly.
