Pay: $25/hr

Job Description:

Clinical & Forensic Toxicology Technician performs immunoassay screening as well as confirmatory and targeted screening analyses within a well-known hospital! This position would require relocation to Rochester, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirmatory testing is performed on both gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) platforms
• Utilizes solid phase extraction (SPE), supported liquid extraction (SLE), liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) as well as dilute-and-shoot for sample preparation.
• Additional sample preparations may involve a protein crash or hydrolysis pre-treatments depending on the analytes in question.
• Targeted screening assays are dilute-and-shoot assays running on LC-MS/MS platforms with high resolution accurate mass (HRAM) analyzers.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a Life Science field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, etc)
• 0-6mo experience (will take a new graduate)
• Must be willing to relocate to Rochester, MN
• Medical Laboratory Testing
• Instrumentation Experience/Troubleshooting
