Currently seeking a Power Distribution Engineering Technician for a long term opportunity in the Ft. Mill, SC area. This position is with a reputable engineering firm supporting utility scale power distribution projects. Qualified candidates will have the following experience:
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in CAD, Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering Technology or design related degree program
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or MicroStation is required
- Must be comfortable in both a field and office setting (50/50 split)
This position falls within the Distribution Engineering and Design Department of the organization. The successful candidate will have an interest in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution systems using various software systems and construction standards.
