Construction Project Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage commercial construction projects from conception to completion.

Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.

Manage and control projects through the direction of the on-site superintendent to ensure quality control and job completion on schedule and within budget.

Meet all project goals (i.e. change orders, critical path dates, punch list completion, and closing reports).

Maintain regular communication with management regarding project status.

This PM will be managing a large manufacturing facility project. The project is projected to take 24 months to complete. This individual would work out of the office in Sioux Falls and drive to the project site 3-4 times/per week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years experience working in a Project Manager position for a GC running and managing projects from start to finish.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge of Timberline and Procore software is beneficial.

Experience with scheduling program preferred.

Broad-based understanding of project management with strong planning skills.

Ability to work independently.

Excellent personal client and team-building skills.
