*main responsibility will be imaging laptops* ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Participate in the resolution of end user’s desktop computer issues that may include but are not limited to hardware, printer troubleshooting and configuration, installing software and/or hardware peripheral, perform daily backup procedures, liaise with third-party software/hardware vendors for problem resolution, and rollout of new software packages, upgrades, and new desktop hardware. • Provide support and technical setup at some trade shows which includes periodic travel. Monitor, support, and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure for operating issues involving failures, degradation, and event correlation using various software and hardware monitoring tools. • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for all types of the IT infrastructure as assigned — hardware, software, telecommunication, business application, customer connectivity, etc. • Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved. • Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage. • Apply basic problem-solving skills in multiple operating environments to support assignments involving the execution of a series of related tasks. • Apply basic knowledge of system/desktop components in completing assigned tasks within Windows Desktop infrastructure. • Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware. • Diagnose basic system performance problems. • Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions • Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from internal employees • Logging and Alert Monitoring • Assist System Operations Team in: Vulnerability Management Compliance/Audit Support Trending and Fault Isolation Access Control and Permissions Network Shared Services Support Application Support
