MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER | SPRING HILL, TN
The selected candidate will be responsible for process implementation which includes installation, debug, runoff, and PPAP of equipment. Work is performed in a team environment, consisting of daily interactions with product engineering, plant engineering, process, maintenance, operations, and a multitude of others, to successfully launch this new product.
Responsibilities include:
- Process Implementation
- Provide input to Equipment/System Design
- Participate in approval of drawings, build reviews, and conducts process run-offs
- Procedure development for operator station fault resets
- Providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendors
- Assist in project management
- Participates in equipment installation board and review weekly/daily
- Supports plant floor equipment installation, tracking and countermeasures
- Participate in the PPAP review meetings for areas of responsibility utilizing the PPAP checklist, capturing exceptions
- Participate in lessons learned gathering activity and feedback with the central process teams
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3-5+ years experience as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer
- Experience with assembly processes, product launch, program launch
- Understanding of PFMEAs, DFMEAs, and PPAPs
- Root cause identification and technical problem solving, hands-on experience in troubleshooting equipment
- Understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, and control drawings
- Understanding of part locating, mechanics, machine design
Additional Information:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings!
- 45-55 hour work weeks, some weeks may stretch up to 60+ hours. Monday-Friday, some Saturdays.
- Overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 weekly.
