Actalent is hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our team in the Galleria area!

Description:

Rooming patients

Urine testing

Refrigerator log maintenance

Input orders for physicians for testing

Assisting the physician with preparing the patient for examinations

Noting medical history in the patient's chart, recording their vitals, measuring height/weight/blood pressure

Providing gowns to the patient if needed for a physical exam

Make sure any equipment/instruments needed for an exam are disinfected/sanitized and ready for the physician

Inputting patient demographics into the EMR system

Cleaning/restocking rooms - Will need to manage supplies and let clinical supervisor know when need to replenish

Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

2+ years of back office Medical Assistant

1 + experience in Internal medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Pediatric

Bilingual in Spanish PLUS

Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred
