Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks
• Analyzes software to determine current capabilities and system functions
• Analyzes business problems for resolution through automation
• Conducts system performance modeling and analyses and system reliability and security analyses
• Develops technical strategy for accomplishing objectives
• Gathers information for users, defines work problems, and designs computer procedures to resolve the problems
• Develops complete specifications for computer software programs
• Reviews work products for correctness, adherence to design concepts, effectiveness in meeting user requirements, and adherence to schedules
• Coordinates with client management and technical specialist to ensure problem resolution and user satisfaction
• Ensures conformance to standards and quality control procedures
• Prepares presentations on systems modifications for peers, subordinates, and client representatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills:

• Twelve (12) years of systems design and analysis experience. This experience must include a minimum of five (5) years as a technical/task lead, providing technical direction to lower level staff.

Desired Skills:

• A bachelor's degree or 4 years of college from an accredited university in a related field, such as Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, etc.
