Lab Technician

Description:

Food Manufacturing experience is

highly preferred as well as GMP and process control experience is a plus. An

associate degree in a science field is a plus but not required.

Please note: This position is a 3rd

shift M-F 10:30p – 7a working every other weekend for up to 8hrs. When working

a weekend one will have a day off during the week.

The Lab technician will be

responsible for performing testing and analysis

• Protein, Oxidation, Hydrogen, pH, Enzyme, and Vomitoxin testing
• Accurately obtain and report data with integrity
• Analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the lab and troubleshoot with operations team
• Standing for prolonged periods and work in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
• Collaborate with teammates and management in an effective manner
• Multitask efficiently in a high pace work environment
• Maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment
• Prioritize safety, quality, and integrity
