Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

- Collect and store specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

- Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and/or butterfly needles

- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

- Process billing information and collect payments when required

- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

- Check all test requisitions or computer labels against script to ensure 100% correctness

- Package specimens for transport

- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
