Job Title: Clinic Registered Nurse

Job Description

• Prepares patients for scheduled procedures and assists in patient assessment. Accurately records history and performs basic triage procedures per policy
• Retrieves initial basic condition of patients, creates nursing history and reports to appropriate practitioner
• Assists providers with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care
• Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records. Maintains all required reports, records, statistics, etc.
• Ensures an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment
• Inspects area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and standards and takes corrective action when violations occur
• Schedules all outside patient appointments per physician order and relays accurately to patients
• Takes calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relays appropriate information to the practitioner in a timely manner
• Assures test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner
• Completes medical orientation checklist
• Initiates appropriate patient education

Hard Skills

• 2+ years of experience preferred
