Job Title: MillwrightJob Description

As a Millwright, you will start and end your workday at the office/shop in Pulaski, TN. Your role will involve traveling to client job sites within a 75-mile radius to install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
  • Connect power units to machines or steam piping to equipment and test units to evaluate mechanical operation.
  • Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
  • Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment using blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Signal crane operator to lower basic assembly units to bedplate and align units using shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts using hand tools and measuring instruments to set specified clearances.
  • Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
  • Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly units using hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform stick and MIG welding.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The Industrial Service Team begins and ends each day at the company office in Pulaski, traveling to client sites in company vehicles. Work is primarily within a 75-mile radius, with occasional out-of-state assignments. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Pulaski, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
