🔧Job Description:

TEKsystems is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician to assist with the rebuild of a client’s Nashville office. This role will focus on voice, data, and fire alarm systems, and will be responsible for installing, configuring, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of low voltage systems. These include Fire Alarms, Access Control Systems, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Intercom systems.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Program, start-up, troubleshoot, and commission new system installations
• Perform point-to-point troubleshooting on various low voltage systems
• Communicate clearly with project leads and clients regarding project status and timelines
• Assist with and lead installation projects to ensure successful execution
• Identify and report system or installation issues
• Review project documents for accuracy before installation
• Conduct inspections to ensure systems meet code requirements
• Complete detailed project reports and documentation
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with all stakeholders
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to timely, cost-effective solutions
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules and shift variations as assigned

🧠 Required Skills:

• Installation and servicing of Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Intercom systems
• Proficiency with Cat6 cabling and low voltage wiring
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Skilled with hand tools, multi-meters, and lift equipment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow both verbal and written instructions
