Principle Accountabilities:
Responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and implementing a training program for all the machine positions on all shifts.
Initiate programs to set and maintain quality, efficiencies and production levels to high standards within the industry and communicate standards to staff.
Make recommendations and assist in planning, methods and machinery, safety programs and standards.
Maintain excellent working conditions, a safe work environment, and high morale within the plant.
Keep Production Manager informed regarding problems or situations that may affect the overall production operation of the plant.
Be available to operate the machines when needed on all shifts.
Document machine training such as setup, operation, assisting, Loadforming and production maintenance process.
Follow all SOP's in production for Safety, Quality and manufacturing process.
Assist crews to achieve the highest quality product with most efficient process.
Communicate all findings to your supervisor and/or manager.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED.
2 -3 years' work experience as a Machine Operator.
Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment
Ability to sit, stoop climb and bend.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Corrugated industry experience.
