Civil EIT

Description:

-Assist the Project Managers and Project Engineers with design and analysis for a variety of civil engineering projects.

-Become familiar with engineering design criteria and methods as necessary to complete project planning, design or analysis.

-Prepare plans and reports for civil infrastructure projects including municipal pipelines, roadways, storm drainage, and private land development projects.

-Perform engineering design and analysis tasks on assigned projects under the

supervision of a Professional Engineer.

-Utilize relevant software programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HEC‐RAS, HEC‐HMS, GIS and other programs for analysis, design, and plan development.

-Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to assist with submittal package preparation including reports, construction plans, technical specifications, and other project deliverables.

-Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers in meetings with Owners, Contractors, Engineers and Clients.

-Work within an experienced design team to ensure successful project plan production and plan quality and oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and EIT certification.

-2 to 5 years of applicable engineering experience is required.
