Description
The Electrical Drafter will produce and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, wiring details, harness documentation, and build packages. The role also supports the manufacturing team by ensuring electrical design outputs can be structured in Duro PLM to drive accurate BOMs, inventory management, and work instructions. Key Responsibilities -Create and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connection documentation for equipment builds. -Produce build-ready documentation packages to support technicians (panel layouts, cable schedules, labeling plans, harness drawings—scope depends on internal tooling). -Support the release of electrical documentation through Duro PLM, helping ensure BOM accuracy and downstream readiness for manufacturing, scaling, and inventory management. -Collaborate with electrical engineers and operations teams to clarify wiring intent and incorporate revisions quickly.- -Maintain revision history and documentation standards so field teams can troubleshoot consistently. -Help identify documentation gaps that slow builds and propose improvements (templates, standard symbols, labeling conventions).

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
