Business Development Manager (BDM)

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, guiding, and being actively communicative to all of our potential or existing partners.  The BDM manages the team that is created under their hierarchy resulting in submitted deals and added revenue opportunities that include associations, financial institutions, independent agent, ISOs, referral partners, and ISVs.  In this hunter role, an entrepreneurial mindset is a MUST.  Leading a team in a management capacity requires creativity, natural leadership skills, and a passion to win.  High level thinking and sense of urgency are ESSENTIAL for success in this highly visible performance role.  

What you will do:

  • Recruit and network with potential new partners
  • Guide and train partners with proper Talus Pay practices utilizing core values
  • Motivate and strategize partners maximize all opportunities
  • Communicate recent news in industry and company regarding new solutions, products, or processes
  • Strategize ideas and processes that benefit merchants/correct platforms and agreements
  • Develop strategy plans and projections from individuals and teams
  • Utilizing company CRM system and portals creating pipelines and disposition of opportunities
