We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Program Manager to join our Engineering Operations team. This critical role will be responsible for driving key operational processes, including forecasting, budgeting, annual operating plan (AOP) planning, headcount management, and tracking HR recruitment efforts within the Engineering organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a proven track record of successful program execution, and a passion for optimizing operational efficiency. You will partner closely with Engineering leadership, Finance, HR, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive results.

About Engineering Operations:

Our Engineering Operations team is dedicated to ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of Walmart's engineering initiatives. By providing accurate financial forecasts, managing headcount, and driving process improvements, we support the company's strategic goals and enhance our competitive edge. As a Senior Program Manager, you'll play a crucial role in aligning operational goals with corporate objectives, ensuring our engineering projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What You'll Do:

Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, including budget planning, variance analysis, and reporting.

Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Planning: Lead the development and execution of the annual operating plan for Engineering, defining key initiatives and performance metrics.

Headcount Management: Manage the headcount process, including forecasting hiring needs, tracking open requisitions, and collaborating with HR.

HR Recruitment Tracking: Work closely with HR to track engineering hires, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies to improve hiring efficiency.

Operational Excellence: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within Engineering Operations.

What You'll Bring:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Experience: 7+ years in program management, operations, or a related field, focusing on financial planning and headcount management.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of analyzing data and developing actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills across all organizational levels.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex programs, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
