Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage and ensure continuity of high‑quality pharmacy services. This position supports day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, patient safety, and medication management during a period of team coverage.
This role is well‑suited for a pharmacist who is adaptable, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering professional, patient‑centered care in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, and dosing
- Provide clear, professional medication counseling and patient education
- Support medication management and adherence initiatives, including specialized packaging when applicable
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy support staff
- Maintain accurate and complete patient and prescription records
- Ensure pharmacy workflow meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of employment
- PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
- Prior experience in retail, clinical, or specialty pharmacy preferred
- Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment
- Ability to step into an established workflow with minimal onboarding
- Excellent communication and patient service skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
