Job Description
We are seeking skilled wireman's to wire up the inside of large MCC/E-Houses. The role involves terminating wires, running wires throughout the unit, and performing some mechanical work, such as installing bus bars and other components as needed. You will work with high voltage equipment, although nothing live, and will read blueprints and wiring diagrams to set up products. The work is mostly custom, offering variety and challenge.
Responsibilities
- Wire up the inside of large MCC/E-Houses.
- Terminate and run wires throughout the unit.
- Perform mechanical work, including installing bus bars and other components.
- Work with high voltage equipment, excluding live work.
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to set up products.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an MCC or E-house electrician.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to build panels and wire products from scratch.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working inside large E-Houses, rather than only at a workbench.

Work Environment
You will be working in a nice, clean, air-conditioned shop. The work hours are from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with the possibility to stay as late as 6:30 pm when working 12-hour shifts, and up to 8 hours on Saturdays. Be open to working up to 70 hours per week. This is an open-ended contract for at least 6 months, with the potential for long-term employment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
