Responsibilities
- Lead painting projects using Mathew's Painting system.
- Collaborate with fabricators, designers, and engineers to execute projects from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints and ensure accurate fabrication.
- Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication tasks.
- Fit and assemble components with precision.
- Engage in carpentry work as needed.
- Proficiency in Mathew's Painting system.
- Experience in fabrication and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in MIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to perform fitting and carpentry tasks.
- High initiative and self-motivation.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Work Environment
Work in a medium-sized metal fabrication facility located in Houston, Texas. The environment is non-climate-controlled but equipped with large fans to maintain comfort. The facility is clean and well-maintained due to the uniqueness of each project. Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes, work shirts, and jeans, while avoiding hats and jewelry. The team is diverse and operates like a family, sharing space in a facility with only two bathrooms. Shift details will be provided upon employment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
