Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead multiple projects from kickoff through final customer acceptance. You will manage end-to-end project execution, including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery. This role involves owning project scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance while serving as the primary point of contact for customers. Your ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure strong communication and customer satisfaction is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings and drive ongoing project updates.
- Communicate technical and contractual requirements to ensure team alignment.
- Allocate resources and prioritize project activities to meet deadlines.
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure scope and deliverables are met.
- Monitor and report project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, contractual terms, and company processes.
- Support invoicing, track payments, and manage project financials.
- Approve shipments and ensure all deliverables meet customer expectations.
- Drive project closeout and secure formal customer acceptance.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Experience in engineering, particularly electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with the product development life cycle and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of switchgear, controls, relay panels.
- BS/BA in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Electrical is preferred).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP Systems (Syteline is ideal).
- 2+ years of experience with switchgear, E-House, buildings, or similar technologies.
- Experience with medium voltage, low voltage, and related systems.
Work Environment
The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
