Description

Charter Communications subsidiary Innovar Media Solutions is looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to enhance their existing team building and enhancing our enterprise applications suite. They have a application tool that they acquired from a 3 party vendor about 1 year ago and they need to start effectively supporting it. They tool application is written in C#/Angular. They need strong C#/Angular developers to support and upgrade the application over the next 3-6 months with the goal of migrating the app to their current tech stack off PHP.

Their existing web technology suite relies heavily on PHP, components in Bootstrap and a growing number of custom integrations with other services and applications. They need someone who can learn quickly to develop in the existing environment, implement incremental changes, and collaborate with the team to approach new architectural challenges, with a big-picture visualization of the entire platform.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 7-10 years experience writing high quality and maintainable PHP with MVC Framework Experience. Yii would be a major plus

• 5-7 years experience JavaScript (ES6+) with Proven understanding of Angular, React, or other leading JS front end technology… along with background in Bootstrap CSS, JQuery

• 2-3 years experience previous coding experience in DotNet Frameworks, C#

• Strong understanding of OOP fundamentals (Composition vs. Inheritance, SOLID principles, Design Patterns)

• 4+ years RDBMS experience – MSSQL preferred

• Significant experience with GIT Version control (Github, GitLab, Bit Bucket, GIT)

• Excellent communication, organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines as group member or individual worker. Ability to interact and work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including faculty, staff, administration, and all external constituencies.

• Understanding of testing practices, experience with test-driven development frameworks for application and infrastructure code, Experience in integrating unit tests and smoke test with code quality analysis tools like JUnit, PHPUnit, Cypress and Selenium.

• Capable of managing multiple demands and processes while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.

• Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to work well in a confidential, fast-paced, highly accountable environment
