Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will play a crucial role in leading service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will be responsible for designing solutions for complex problems and managing various projects to support the Operations Maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Perform battery changes and preventative maintenance on batteries.
- Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete preventive maintenance sheets.
- Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Apply electrical knowledge to understand basic components.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
- Track and manage department inventory, including spare parts.
- Experience in maintenance, mechanics, and troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with automated conveyor systems.
- Ability to complete preventative maintenance.
- 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles with at least 2 years of experience.
- 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
- 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment systems.
- 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Familiarity with computer systems and applications used in maintenance management.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.65 - $42.65/hr.
