We are seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Assistant to join our fast‑paced medical team. This role offers excellent hands‑on clinical exposure, making it a strong stepping‑stone for individuals looking to build a long‑term career in healthcare!
What You’ll Do
- Document physician visits and patient encounters in the EMR system
- Assist physicians with medical instruments and clinical procedures
- Complete patient work‑ups after consultations
- Communicate treatment plans and procedures clearly to patients
- Support overall clinic flow and provide high‑quality patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field
- Experience in medical assisting, patient care, or a clinical environment preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high‑volume setting
- Excellent communication and patient‑facing skills
- Ophthalmology or optometry experience is a plus
- Bilingual skills welcome but not required

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
