Field Inventory Planner

May Include:

• Collaborate with logistics and order services to understand finished good inventory requirements and forecast demand for products at COD & DOD locations.
• Develop and implement inventory replenishment strategies to maintain optimal finished good inventory levels while minimizing stock outs and excess inventory.
• Monitor finished good inventory levels and consumption patterns at field locations, analyzing trends and identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and inventory optimization.
• Implement inventory control measures and procedures to ensure accurate inventory.
• Review and analyze COD/DOD performance/inventory levels; recommend necessary changes to forecasts.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of inventory to field locations based on demand forecasts and lead times.
• Continuously evaluate and improve finished good inventory management processes in the field.
• Ensure timely reporting of inventory status vs target and gap-closure actions
• Performs other duties as assigned

  Proficient in inventory managing software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory planning methodologies, demand forecasting techniques, and inventory control principles.

• Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping, reporting, and inventory tracking.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of inventory management or related experience
• Demonstrated history of evaluating and improving inventory management processes in the field

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred, but not required
