Job Description

Perform clinical testing in at least two of the following departments: Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology. Responsibilities include receiving specimens, conducting clinical tests, understanding method principles, performing quality controls and instrument maintenance, and interpreting results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Experience in Microbiology or CORE LAB.
• Eligibility for AMT or ASCP certification within the year.
• Proficiency in PCR and Molecular techniques.
• Microbiology experience preferred.
• Accurate performance and collection of tests while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Strong reasoning ability and independent judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to work under stress and contribute to the team environment.
• Nationally recognized clinical laboratory science certification, credentials, or equivalent within 12 months of hire.

Work Environment:

Two openings are available in the CORE LAB. Shift options include 7 PM - 7 AM Monday to Friday (night shift includes a 12K sign-on bonus) or 1PM - 11PM Monday to Friday (includes a 10K sign-on bonus) with expectations to rotate weekends.
